This is another image from our Whale Trail Hike. We arrived at the cliff above Noetsie in the late afternoon. This tiny Fynbos bush greeted me in the evening light. After this only a steep hike downhill separated us from a warm shower, dinner and a glass of red at the fire.

Picture of the day 13 September 2010 – Devil’s Peak
I took this last year around in October. It was as sunny and beautiful as it is today. Devil’s Peak is one of the peaks of Table Mountain. On the lower slopes, you can see Rhodes Memorial, which is also part of my favorite running routes in Cape Town.

Earlier this year, I visited my hometown Aachen. The Tivoli, is the soccer stadium in Aachen. Black and yellow are the club colours of Alemannia Aachen, just in case you are wondering.
