About

I can’t draw.. but I can photograph

Drawing always fascinated me, but I never mastered it. Photography has been a good alternative. My father gave me my first camera, when I was five years old. The fascination with a small, magic box has been keeping me in it’s spell.
As so many photographers before me, the magic of photography became reality, when I printed my first black and white print. A white sheet of paper transformed into a photograph in front of my eyes. Alchemy! That was at school, when I was thirteen years old.  Photography included the aspect of chemistry, developing your own film and printing it in a photo lab.
Today, I work as professional photographer in Cape Town. These days I work with digital cameras. The demand for images has increased and many more people require professional photographs. My specialities are corporate, editorial and travel photography.

Corporate shot

Corporate photography tells the story of a company (big or small) and how it can solve unique problems for it’s customers. My work helps to illustrate the work and presents the key players in the company.

A typical corporate assignment can include: Portraits, photographing work processes, ad hoc portraits, architecture and product shots.

Travel and editorial photography tell stories around a theme or place. What makes this city so special and what are some of the hidden treasures? How experiences a person in a wheelchair a soccer match. Photography allows me to explore and wonder. I photographed stories about people living with disability in context of the soccer world cup (for a German magazine), rural architecture around Cape Town (for the first edition of a Spanish magazine),..

I experience the world through my camera and photography.

Let me know on how I can help you to get the images you are looking for.

My corporate client list includes Anglo American, BMW Financial Services, European Literary Award, Moore Stephens, Cecilia’s World.

Once a month, I organize the Cape Town Photography meetup. This is a free event for people interested in photography in Cape Town. Sign up for my newsletter to receive your invitation for the upcoming event.

The newsletter showcases also some of my latest work and more.
