    How do you get so much contrast? I am struggling with my DSLR!

      Hi Denise, 
      Good to hear from you. I use a technique called HDR (High Dynamic Range). With this technique you combine a number of images, of which one is under-exposed, one correctly exposed and another over-exposed. The iPhone offers a nifty app for this to make things easier. Trey Ratcliff from http://www.stuckincustoms.com/ has detailed information and mind blowing examples on HDR photography on his site.
