Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing, Andre Crawford-Brunt’s 40th birthday party at the Pepper Club At The Beach in Camps Bay. Go4Word, the organizers told me that an international star would perform later that evening, but kept the name under wraps.
The guests and myself found out that this international star was no other than Seal. What an amazing surprise! Before you start looking for any images of Seal, you won’t find any. Copyright regulations prevent me of displaying any images from the concert.
I can share with you some pictures from the party itself. This was an extraordinary evening at any count, well organized and executed. Great vibe at a beautiful location with an unbelievable performance by Seal. Once again, I was reminded that my job as events photographer is to capture the memorable events for my clients, may the big or small.
For me personally, it was great to meet Steve Huff in person. Steve photographs Seal’s concerts when he is on tour. I have been following his blog for a while. Meeting him at the event made this assignment ever more meaningful for me.
